All legal transactions of dpunkt.verlag GmbH within the scope of the events are based on these General Terms and Conditions. With the registration you accept these General Conditions of Participation.
Registration for the events takes place via the registration options on the Internet. It is also admissible to register by letter, fax or e-mail, provided that all required data are provided.
After registration you will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail. Upon receipt of this confirmation of registration with you, the contract is concluded.
Cancellations must always be made in writing. If you cancel up to 14 days before the start of the event, no costs will be charged. For cancellations up to 7 days before the start of the event, 50% of the participation fee will be charged. After that, unfortunately, we have to charge you the entire cost. Of course, you can name a substitute participant at no extra charge. If important reasons exist, dpunkt.verlag GmbH is entitled to relocate events and / or appoint a different appointment. For good cause, the event may be canceled for a full refund of any fees already paid. Further claims do not exist. Irrespective of this, dpunkt.verlag GmbH can cancel the event up to 14 days before the start without further explanation. In cases of force majeure such as war, riots, forces of nature, fire, strike, lockouts, sabotage by third parties, official orders etc. neither Party shall be liable for any delay or non-performance of performance due to force majeure.
After your registration you will receive an invoice for the participation fee. The invoice amount must be transferred to the account of dpunkt.verlag GmbH stated in the invoice within 14 days after receipt of the invoice. In the case of credit card payment, the credit card holder will be charged immediately after the successful conclusion of the contract. (Currently dpunkt.verlag GmbH does not offer payment of credit card fees for participation in our events.)
The prices stated in the program include the services mentioned in the program. Refunds for incompletely accepted services will not be made.
The liability of dpunkt.verlag GmbH for property damage - for whatever legal reason - is limited to intent and gross negligence. For accidents during the event, on the way to and from the venue as well as for theft and the loss or damage of objects dpunkt.verlag GmbH assumes no liability.
The dpunkt.verlag GmbH stores the data provided by the user, but uses this data exclusively for purposes relating to the order, eg to confirm the registration and the transmission of event information, invoicing and for the newsletter. Of course, personal data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties. The user expressly agrees to the collection, processing and use of the data obtained in connection with the business relationship. The user has a right of access and a right to correction, blocking and deletion of his stored data.
Image, video and audio recordings for the purpose of private or commercial use are not permitted, unless the organizer has given its approval.
The contractual relationship is subject to German law. Jurisdiction for all disputes is, as far as legally permissible, Heidelberg. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision which comes as close as possible to the replaced provision.
